The active filter launched by Bogmating for domestic grid users, as an advanced power quality control product with high technology content, integrates the power electronic technology, digital control technology, digital signal processing technology, optical fiber transmission and other cutting-edge technologies. The core of the product is composed of the power electronics converter circuit and harmonic detection algorithm. The key technology of the power electronics converter circuit is selection and realization of topological structure.
 


The traditional topological structure in the active power filter is two-level topology characterized by output of high and low levels by the port voltage at the AC side. Another new topological structure is three-level topology characterized by output of high, low and zero levels (with the middle point at the converter DC side as reference point) by the port voltage at the AC side.

 

Compared with the three-level topology, the two-level topology has the advantages of simple and easy control algorithm and the disadvantages of high voltage, large stress and large loss of the converter switching elements and high high-frequency harmonic components in the output waveform, bringing difficulties to the design of switch sub-filter and resulting in large loss in the magnetic elements.

 

The three-level program well solves these problems of two-level program and obviously improves the system efficiency at the cost of relatively complex control algorithm and requiring more switching elements. But due to halved voltage withstood by each switching element and reduction in the cost of each element, the system cost will not be increased significantly.

Structure features

 

  Efficient filter capacity

1. As a product of dynamic filtering of harmonic current, the active filter is characterized by thorough filtering effect, effective filtering of higher harmonic and effective suppression of resonance, so filter capacity is a key parameter of the active filter product. Each harmonic current within 2 ~50 times can be filtered once by the active filter introduced by Bogmating.

  Advanced man-machine interaction information

2. Man-machine interaction information is an important function of the active filter and the carrier for the user to understand the system filtering effect and machine running status.

  Multi-CPU control mixed control system

3. Active filter completes the whole detection, analysis and compensation of harmonic current by means of dynamic compensation of harmonic current through software algorithm, which is burnt in DSP (CPU). Compared with dual DSP control system of conventional active filters, the active filter of Bogmating adopts multi-CPU mixed control system. The system with multi-CPU parallel work mainly has two advantages: (1) increase the computation speed by times, i.e. increase the harmonic compensation speed by times; (2) data size of software algorithm that can be used is larger with CPU quantity increase.

  High stability and reliability, high management efficiency and high engineering efficiency

4. Bogmating active filter is mostly characterized by high stability and reliability, high management efficiency and high engineering efficiency compared with conventional active filters. Bogmating typical active filter module capacities include 50A, 60A, 75A, 100A, 150A and 200A. In case of failure of a module in an active filter system constructed by multiple modules, the other modules keep normal running, reflecting high stability; in case of system module failure, the active filter module is directly replaced and the other modules are running normally to support the user filter needs, minimizing the losses that cannot meet the the user filtering needs due to failure and reflecting high management efficiency; wide module capacity coverage, flexible configuration of optimal system capacity and wall-mounted and rack installation modes reflect high engineering efficiency.
