Introduction to the scheme

The low voltage dynamic power factor correction solution is mainly achieved by BGMD-TSC dynamic filter compensation components, which is composed of the thyristor switch, harmonic adjustment reactor and power capacitor. The reactance ratio of the harmonic adjustment reactor is optional between 5% and 14% and the controller is selected from BGMD-FR12 or BGMD-FR18 series.
 
 
The filter compensation components can be classified into those with reactance ratio 7% and 14% according to the system characteristics and compensation requirements.
TSC filter compensation component series with the reactance ratio of 7% and tuning frequency of 189Hz can effectively suppress the harmonic pollutions for 5 times and above while providing reliable reactive compensation.
TSC filter compensation component series with the reactance ratio of 14% and tuning frequency of 134Hz can effectively suppress the harmonic pollutions for 3 times and above while providing reliable reactive compensation.

Application domain

Application scenarios
In this solution, thyristor silicon-controlled switch is mainly used as the switching component. The solution, with the zero switch principle and without impact or surge in switching, applies to the power distribution system with large load fluctuations as well as the power distribution systems for centralized compensation, on-site compensation, box transformer substation compensation and rural power network renovation.
 
 
Compensation effect
The stable and reliable compensation system can meet the reactive compensation requirements in dynamic conditions. Due to the use of thyristor module without mechanical contact as the switching switch, there is no surge or impact at the moment of switching.
