I. Introduction to distributed temperature measurement system:
 
1.1 Cable status monitoring system solution
1.1.1 System description
The cable status monitoring system assesses the cable safe operation level, intelligently analyzes the cable current carrying quantity and gives early warning of cable failure information by monitoring the a series of parameters including cable temperature, partial discharge and shield circulating current to avoid electric accident caused by cable failure.
 
 
1.1.2 System functions
1) Cable and cable joint temperature monitoring
Real-time temperature monitoring and abnormal warning of the high voltage cable and its joint through distributed optical fiber temperature measurement system.
 
2) Carrying capacity monitoring
 Calculate the cable core temperature, calculate and simulate the maximum carrying capacity under various running environments through the mathematical model of dynamic carrying capacity.
 
3) Sheath grounding current monitoring
Monitor the ground wire leakage current through the current transformer to achieve effective monitoring and abnormal warning of the sheath grounding current.
 
4) Partial discharge monitoring
Obtain the partial discharge information and analyze the cable and joint insulation through the high-frequency current transformer installed in the cable joint ground wire to provide basis for assessment of its insulation level and aging.

2.1 Transformer temperature measurement system
 
2.1.1 System overview
The transformer fiber grating online monitoring system can achieve real-time accurate winding temperature measurement, achieve comprehensive monitoring of the temperature in the transformer, accurately measure the transformer winding temperature and control real-time fan cooling pump and other cooling systems to greatly prolong the service life of the power equipment transformer, guarantee the power supply at peak load and minimize the unplanned accidents, so as to improve the operation safety and reliability of the whole system.

2.2 Switch cabinet fiber grating temperature measurement system
2.2.1 System overview
Online real-time temperature monitoring of the power switch cabinet is an important guarantee for safety of the switch cabinet. Poor contact, oblique plugging and other reasons in the switch cabinet result in overheat and even burn the equipment. Poor contact of high voltage cable joint and connector results in abnormal overheating and accelerates insulation aging and breakdown, which is the main failure form of the high voltage switch cabinet. The switch cabinet fiber grating online monitoring system is characterized by insulation, contact type, long-time running and real-time monitoring and is very suitable for temperature monitoring of the power switch cabinet.
